About Rachel

Well, I was always the chubby girl in school. Growing up I had horrible eating habits, and never was into too many sports. I changed my ways when I moved in high school and figured I could make new friends, and hopefully never be the fat girl again. I lost 35 lbs and have pretty much kept it off throughout college. Now that I have graduated, I feel myself wanting more than to just being in ‘ok’ shape. I want to be in great shape, the best shape possible. I want to go into Law School being smokin’ hot! So this summer, that is my mission. I will be running in the mornings, and doing P90X at night. If you do not know what that is, you can visit beachbody.com and check it out. Its a great program!

I love to cook, so I will be posting pictures and recipes for my favorite dishes whenever possible. This blog was inspired by katheats.com. I make a lot of her recipes and she is a great inspiration. If you haven’t looked at her blog, i highly recommend it.

me and tommy

As for my personal life, I have an amazing boyfriend (soon to be fiance) who is the most caring person I have ever met. I cannot wait for us to start our lives together. Tommy keeps me going, and I could never have gotten this far without him. He works out with me and even helps me cook! Tommy is literally the perfect man. Sorry ladies! I took him! :) ! We have two adorable puppies (our pseudo kids) Josie (the beagle) and Pri(the toy chihuahua). They keep me company when my man is out working (I am studying for the LSAT and taking the year off) and I love them to death.

It’s dwest from BB.com, Very nice blog it shows your dedication to all of your goals. Keep up the good work and tell your boyfriend he’s very lucky he couldn’t have found a better combination of beauty, humor and many other things that are too long to list. Good luck to both of you and I’ll be reading regularly.

    Hi Rachel,

Great idea putting this blog together. I am so glad I ran across one of your YouTube videos. I find them motivating. I started P90x last fall, was doing great. Lost some pounds and more inches, and then injured my back (doing something else). Took me quite a bit of time to recover so I restarted it again 5 weeks ago. Now I am back to where I was when I injured myself and I find it helpful to follow your progress. Keep up the great work!

Hey what’s up? I came accross your videos on youtube because I was thinking about getting P90X. I’ve decided to go ahead and order it later today when I wake up. LOL I just got home from hanging out with some friends and have made the desicion to FULLY comit myself to P90X and go the extra mile to get the greatest results possible! I think that it is awesome that you have your future fiance helping you out, supporting you, and working out with you! That should be an awesome motivator. Well, I’m going to get some sleep so that I can wake up and try and run a mile or two, if I can make it! lol Looking forward to future meals etc. Talk to ya later. Adios, Danny.
